Chinedu Okoli better Known as Flavour N’abania, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer born November 23rd, 1983 .The Igbo man is from Umunze,Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, Eastern Nigeria and that is his state of origin where he came from origianlly.

Flavour N’abania was born and brought up in Enugu state , Nigeria and he is the first son of his family of four siblings and seven step brothers and sisters. Flavour N’abania is a Nigerian musicial known for his unique talent in Nigerian Highlife music, mixed with a modern appeal of Afro hip hop, Nigerian music celebrity popularly called address as Flavour by his large audience is a music listeners delight any day, any time!

Chinedu Okoli who prefer to be called Flavour N’abania after becoming singer started his singing career in his local church as a drummer in Enugu state and aside playing drums, Flavour is also very skillful in the use of musical instrument like the guitars, Piano, keyboards. He was only 13 when he started playing the drums for his church choir in Enugu .

flavour-1Fast farward to year in 1996, with the help of his church pastor he was connected with the owner of soundcity communications, an emerging music company with the passion to train young Nigerians on the art of music making, performance and others basics. Very fortunately for him , he was given educational scholarship to train and learn the basics of music while at Soundcity communications.

In the year 1999, Flavour N’abania moved on from playing the drums and started playing the keyboard with the determination to become a professional in the future . He also used to provide backing vocals for other musicians at SoundCity that was before he rose to stardom actually.

When he started singing professionally, he moved from Enugu state to Lagos. When he started music initially his family was not n support of his chosen career as his mother would always frawn at him whenever he says anytime relating to music they often dismissed it as a pipe dream. But his dream and passion for music kept him going and he didn’t give up on his career , Flavour has climbed to the apex of NIgerian music Scene to become one of the richest Nigerian Musician who everybody love like mad .

Flavour N’abania became a popular demand and hot cake in Nigeria when he released the second album titled “Uplifted”. The album was released by lolhiphop records that is based in south Africa, the highly anticipated album has some beautiful tracks like “Nwa Baby” a remix of Ashawo, “Adamma” which translate as Daughter of beauty in Igbo language. It is no longing news that Flavour N’abania mostly use his local dialect( Igbo language) in most of his songs .

October 18, 2012 under 2nite entertainment , Flavour N’abania released his 3rd studio album titled “Blessed” . This album placed him on  a higher ground and a better position to define is personality and music style in the Nigerian industry.

He has released four albums since he started his music career and they are ;N’abania (2005), Uplifted (2010), Blessed (2012) and Thankful (2014) .
